Mayday!

Le Hamel, Picardy, France
Tuesday, May 1, 2012

Our last day in France (for now) so we did a little cruise up to Le Hamel. This area signifies the beginning of the end of the war, where the Allies started to enjoy some real victories (thanks to Monash) and the German's had little choice but to begin the retreat and end the conflict.

Today... it's just very pretty countryside.

Little French villa
Little French villa I still reckon my little Greek villa on Santorini is better. I wonder if it is still available? I reckon I could probably snap it up for about two and a half Aussie dollars.
Escargot anyone?
