Prep day
Last minute washing, charging batteries and bluetooth, reducing crap that I don't need, cleaning visors, ditching even more stuff, making sure I've got all the right documentation, repack bike...
I tried fitting the iPhone/GPS holder but it doesn't sit right. The headset on the 300 is different from the 250. I dislike it intensely.
I can't read the speedo numbers for starters. I would love to get a pen and colour in the white numbers for km/h but the miles/h is a dead loss.
The indicator light is down low so I have more of a tendency to leave them on.
And the screen is smaller and completely ineffectual (although it is still better than the monster screen which I have now removed.)
The wasp bite has become inflamed and itchy and it takes all my self control not to gouge it with my fingernails to get some relief. I've used nearly a full tube of Soov and still it's driving me bonkers. [Note to BOSS - send more Soov]
I shall miss it here - I could easily stay and be fed wonderful dinners, play with gorgeous children and endlessly throw the ball for the smartest dog in the world... but there are roads to ride.
