BCFr weekend

Rocamadour, Midi-Pyrénées, France
Saturday, June 23, 2012

The weather was gorgeous, the coffee was hot and the roads were beckoning.

John, Craig, Lawrence and I decided not to wait for the crowd taking their time over breakfast and we set out for a punt around the twistiest roads on the map. Lawrence plugged them all into his GPS and still managed to miss the turns all day.

We did about 200kms of the loveliest windy roads, through the most gorgeous sunlit country eventually ending up in Cahors for a late lunch.

Craig had to leave us and return to Montpellier so the three of us made out way north again to La Noyeraie. The rest of the crowd returned from their day out and then disappeared down the road for some home made icecream.

James put on a brilliant BBQ with homemade bread and sausage sangas and the beer flowed long into the night.
